PANE IN THE GLASS PRODUCTIONS

 FALL IN A PICTURE FRAME

Schools re-open, buses running,
Children dressed, then eat and run,
Classrooms buzz with summer’s stories,
Where sounds of life abound,
And old and new friendships are found.

The football takes its place in flight,
In wingless rush of crispy air.
Pompoms waving, bands a’playing,
For soldiers strangely dressed –
A place in history addressed.

Little devils and small angels,
Superman and Robin Hood,
Stupid, funny, awesome creatures,
Set a scary festive scene
For a lively Halloween.

Families gather all together
To grandmother’s house we go.
A time for glad remembrance sharing;
Then eat 'til we’re stuffed and to say
Our blessings on – Thanksgiving Day.

Golden leaves upon the landscape,
Flocks of birds migrating south,
Pumpkins plump and ripened corn,
Are signs and wonders of a season
Readyin’ for the time of freezin’.
